About this site

This site is for anyone with the symptoms of mental illness, family members, friends, and community advocates. It's purpose is to promote understanding and reduce the stigma of mental illness.

People can become aware of their own attitudes and take action to reduce stigma. Please explore the steps in this website to see how YOU can help people in your communities face the stigma of mental illness.

At the top menu, you can see an INTRO/HOME link so you can return to the beginning of the materials.There are some tools (quizzes, audio, images and more) to provide greater awareness about stigma. Follow the steps listed in the left navigation bar or in the links for each section at top. More help is at directions. You can also refer to the sitemap.
